…started out really crummy what with bouts of insomnia, my general lack of productivity (which, to be fair, was only partially caused by the insomnia) and maricha's email that the caribbean cruise we (mackie, ate metzie and i) were planning for spring break was fully booked. towards the end of the week, however, things started to look up—the weather was slightly nicer for a change, i managed to get a head start on my readings for the next week, and best of all, i finally got to go to mass on friday. davis' church is, in a lot of ways, similar to ateneo's gesu. it's big but not too big. and one of the priests is filipino and another a jesuit. another nice thing about the catholic church at davis is that it's situated right in front of the public library, which, as it turns out was holding a book sale this weekend. all this, i suppose, is my roundabout way of telling you guys how i ended up at the library today lugging a grocery bag full of books (the deal is you fill up the bag with as much books as you can—i got to fit around 30—and pay $5 for the bag's entire contents).
right now, it's almost 2 in the morning and i'm still not sleepy.
but i have a bag full of books to keep me occupied and a new week to start over.
hope it's a good one for all of us. 🙂
